For the waffle toast, place all the ingredients for the batter in a large bowl and mix well with a hand mixer. If necessary, add a few sips of milk to make a runny batter.
Preheat the waffle iron and brush with oil. Pour the batter into the waffle iron and bake. Alternatively, the batter can be baked in a cake pan in the oven and later cut into pieces.
Top the finished waffles with ham and cheese and toast in the toaster. Serve the waffle toast.
