Rinse potatoes and cook in salted water until not too soft. Peel while still hot, cool, then cut into slices. Heat a large iron skillet, pour in butterfat, then fry the onion in it briefly. Add the potato slices and roast until they get a nice color, then on the spot turn down the temperature and gradually add 40 g of the butter.

In a second frying pan, heat the oil and the remaining butter, add the sliced meat, roast quickly and heartily.

Season with salt. Mix the meat with the potatoes, add the finely chopped spices, season again with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.

It goes very well with coleslaw with bacon.

Our tip: Use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
