Peel and finely dice the onions. Bacon also finely cut into cubes. Fry bacon cubes in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion cubes and sauté for 2 min until soft, cool a bit.

Brush the grill pan with oil and grill the Salisbury steaks on it over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.

Our tip: It is also possible to grill on a charcoal grill with a well-oiled grill grate. If you don’t have a grill pan, do without the characteristic streaks and fry the Salisbury steaks in a normal frying pan in 1 tbsp. oil.
