Try this delicious cake recipe:

Dry baguette in finger-thick slices for one night in the air or possibly in about 30 min at moderate temperature (100 °C ) in an open oven.

Stir the eggs well in the milk with saffron and leave for 30 minutes. Then soak bread with it or soak up liquid with bread. Drain excess liquid. Bake on oiled, hot frying pan for approx. 3 min. per slice. Drizzle with tomato chutney and creme fraiche. Decorate with sliced kumquat fruit. If there are no kumquat fruits, you can use untreated orange peel (thin, without the white!).

Bring to the table very fresh.
