Patriotic Watermelon Feta Skewers (Print Version)

Juicy watermelon, creamy feta and blueberries on skewers - colorful, no-cook summer party bites.

# What You Need:

→ Fruit & Cheese

01 - 2 cups seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 6 ounces feta cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
03 - 1 cup fresh blueberries

→ Garnish & Assembly

04 - 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped (optional)
05 - 1 tablespoon honey or balsamic glaze (optional)

# How To Make It:

01 - Slice watermelon and feta into equal 1-inch cubes. Rinse and drain the blueberries thoroughly.
02 - Thread one blueberry, one feta cube, and one watermelon cube onto each skewer or toothpick. Continue until approximately 12 skewers are completed.
03 - Optionally drizzle the assembled skewers with honey or balsamic glaze and sprinkle with chopped mint for enhanced flavor.
04 - Neatly arrange the skewers on a serving platter and serve immediately while chilled.

# Handy Tips:

01 -
  • Each skewer delivers sweet, creamy, juicy, and tangy flavors in one bite—and the colors really pop on your table.
  • I started making these for summer celebrations, and now someone always asks if I’m bringing ‘those fancy fruit sticks’ again.
02 -
  • If you rush and cut the watermelon too thin, it breaks when you skewer it—I learned patience fast that day.
  • I always thought pre-crumbled feta would save time but only perfect cubes stay intact and look impressive on the platter.
03 -
  • Resist the urge to use overripe watermelon—it gets mushy fast and makes assembly tricky.
  • A drizzle of balsamic glaze right before serving adds a little magic and impresses every time.
