Clean the vegetables and cut them into bite-sized pieces, not too small. Briefly sauté the garlic in the hot oil, add the vegetables – except the bean sprouts – in order according to their cooking time and sauté. Add some liquid if the mixture becomes too dry. Season with sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce and pepper. Cook for 2-3 min, covering the wok. Just before the end, add the bean sprouts, stir and season again.
