Mango Ginger Mocktail (Print Version)

Sweet mango meets zesty ginger in this refreshing 10-minute drink, ideal for summer gatherings.

# What You Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup ripe mango, peeled and diced (fresh or thawed frozen)
02 - 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

→ Syrup & Flavorings

03 - 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
04 - 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup

→ Liquids

05 - 1 cup chilled sparkling water
06 - 1/2 cup cold water

→ Garnish

07 - Mango slices, lime wedges, or mint sprigs (optional)
08 - Ice cubes

# How To Make It:

01 - Combine diced mango, grated ginger, lime juice, honey or agave, and 1/2 cup cold water in a blender. Blend until completely smooth and uniform in texture.
02 - Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher or bowl, pressing with a spoon to extract liquid while removing fibrous ginger and mango pulp.
03 - Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes to chill the mocktail properly.
04 - Divide the strained mango-ginger puree evenly between the two glasses, filling each approximately halfway.
05 - Top each glass with chilled sparkling water and stir gently to combine the flavors.
06 - Decorate with fresh mango slices, lime wedges, or mint sprigs if desired. Serve immediately while cold and effervescent.

# Handy Tips:

01 -
  • The spicy ginger cuts through the sweet mango so it never tastes cloying or childish
  • Takes literally ten minutes but looks stunning in fancy glasses with those garnishes
02 -
  • A fine mesh sieve is absolutely essential here, otherwise you will be chewing on ginger pulp all night
  • The drink separates quickly if it sits, so stir gently before each sip if you are nursing it
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes beforehand for that restaurant quality touch
  • If the ginger flavor seems too mild, grate it directly into the blender instead of prep bowl to catch all those juices
