For the currant blueberry jam, first put the berries together in a pot and puree them with the help of a hand blender. Add the lemon juice and berry preserving sugar and bring to the boil for 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, pour 1 cm of hot water into a pan. Pour the jam into jam jars, screw on the lids and pour upside down, with the lid down, into the pan of hot water.
This creates a vacuum and the jam lasts a little longer.

A little mint or lemon balm make the currant blueberry jam even tastier.
