For the plum cake, preheat the oven to 170°. Cream butter and cane sugar until fluffy. Then add a little cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Add the eggs one after the other. Beat again until well fluffy.

Meanwhile, mix together the whole wheat flour and buckwheat flour. Mix the cream of tartar baking powder into the flour. Fold the flour mixture into the butter mixture.

Pour into a greased and floured cake pan and smooth out. Remove the seeds from the plums and cut them in half. Place the plums on top of the cake batter.

Put the plum cake in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes.
