Try this delicious cake recipe:

2 cups of sour cream (a 150 g) zest and and juice of one untreated lemon.

Mix starch, salt, flour, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 packet of vanillin sugar, eggs, sour cream, lemon zest and juice. Heat the fat to 170 °C. Heat a spring iron in the fat until hot. Then dip twice into the batter, making sure that the top edge of the iron remains free.

Now dip the spring iron into the hot fat until the pastry comes away. Continue to float the pastry in the fat until it is golden on all sides. Remove and drain a little.

Combine remaining sugar and vanillin sugar and turn springs in it to the other side.
