Instructions:

Rinse the potatoes well, cover them with water and cook them in a saucepan for 15-20 minutes, depending on their size, until almost soft. Then drain, peel and cut into slices.

Rinse the peppers, cut them in half and remove the stalk, core and membranes. Cut half into narrow strips.

Peel and finely dice the onions. In a frying pan, sauté in the heated oil, then add the bell pepper strips and sauté. Remove the skin from the garlic clove and squeeze it.

Heat the fat in a frying pan and brown the minced meat.

Put it in a suitable bowl and mix it with 2/3 of the breadcrumbs and the eggs. Season with salt and paprika powder.

Dice the feta cheese and stir the sour cream with the parsley.

In the beginning, spread the greased baking pan with potatoes, then add the onion-pepper mixture and minced meat, alternating with potato slices. The top layer should be potatoes.

Spread the diced feta cheese evenly in the middle and pour the parsley whipped cream on top. Sprinkle with the remaining breadcrumbs. Bake in the oven heated to 180 °C for about half an hour.

Tip. If the casserole becomes too brown on top: Cover with aluminum foil or a lid!
