Beat eggs, baking powder, sugar and butter well. Sift in the flour and stir in.

Pour the batter into a springform pan lined with baking paper or into a “normal” pan dusted with oil and flour (diameter 24 cm).

Bake for approx. 30 minutes at 190 °C in a preheated oven. Allow to cool well and remove from the mold. Spread the entire cake base with strawberry jam and then cover with the sliced strawberries.

Prepare the gelatine according to the package instructions, mix with the strawberry juice and pour over the cake.

Preparation Tip:

Caution: If you do not have a springform pan, pour the gelatin-strawberry juice mixture slowly and rather sparingly over the strawberry cake.
