As a main course / total preparation time: approx. 20 min. plus approx. 20 min. for cooking the chestnuts.
Rinse the meat, rub dry, season with salt and season with pepper. Heat the oil in a coated frying pan and sear the meat on all sides, then cook until done. Remove and keep warm.
Finely crush the chestnuts.
Dissolve the pan juices with a little bit of water, add the whipped cream and cook the sauce a little bit. Later add the chestnut puree and season the sauce with salt, pepper and a little sugar.
Put the chicken breast on a plate and pour the sauce.
Tips: Chicken breast with chestnut sauce goes well with baked potatoes and steamed vegetables, such as broccoli or leek. If you like, you can refine the sauce with a pinch of nutmeg.
