For the fig jam, mix all the ingredients (except alcohol) and leave to infuse for a few hours.
Bring to a boil and boil for 4-5 minutes until bubbly, remove spices. Make a jelly test.
Pour into prepared hot jars, with the help of an eyedropper drip a few drops of alcohol over, light and seal immediately.
Preparation Tip:
If you like, you can add a sliced vanilla or chili pepper and replace the red wine with fruit juice.
