For the vanilla linzer, knead flour, powdered sugar, butter, almonds, cinnamon, egg yolks and vanilla pulp into a smooth dough.
Roll this out on baking paper to a thickness of approx. 2 mm, pull out onto a baking tray and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Cover 2 baking trays with baking paper, place the dough on the work surface and cut out circles (possibly with a wavy edge, 6 cm in diameter) and distribute them on the trays.
Chill the leftover dough again and cut out more circles. (should make about 40-50 circles). Cut out half of the circles with different designs and bake at 180 °C for about 10 minutes.
Spread the full circles with the chili jam and place the other pieces on top. Sprinkle the vanilla linzer with powdered sugar.
Preparation Tip:
The vanilla linzer are particularly tasty dipped in chocolate icing or chocolate coating.
