For the wild strawberry jam, it is best to only sort the wild strawberries and not wash them. Put the strawberries in a large pot (3 liters) and pour the preserving sugar over them. Cover.
Stir after 3 hours in the pot, then the strawberries should have already softened in the sugar. Only then heat the mixture and cook it to jam in only 3 minutes.
Pour into small jars and seal well!
Preparation Tip:
The wild strawberry jam can be refined as desired with a little rum.
