For the cola syrup, put the washed and well drained cola herb with the sliced lemon and citric acid in a pot and pour boiling water over it.
Cover and let steep at room temperature for 2 days. Then stir well, heat and steep for about 5 minutes. While still hot and strained, pour into bottles. Store in a cool and dark place.
Preparation Tip:
Cola herb is also interesting as a seasoning in dishes. The cola syrup can be used for tea but also for cold lemonade.
