A great pasta dish for any occasion:

Preheat the stove to 175 degrees. Butter a deep ovenproof dish (capacity 1 1/2 liters).

Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil over high heat in a large saucepan. Add pasta and simmer as directed, about 8-ten minutes. Drain. Transfer to a suitable bowl, add garlic, salt, butter and Tabasco; mix. Fold in the grated cheddar.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Add the onions and saute until softened, about 10 minutes.

Add the tomatoes and jalapenos. Gently toss for about 5 min, then add to pasta mold and stir. Pour everything into the prepared dish.

Whisk the milk with the eggs and pour over the pasta. Bake in the stove for 25 min.

Take out and stand for 10 min to absorb remaining liquid.

Sprinkle with the queso fresco.
